Over the course of my clinical practice, I've worked with hundreds of awesome people whom were unfortunately ailing from autoimmune conditions, allergic dis-eases, digestive concerns, to neurological issues. One of the most common points of suffering was surrounding my patients' metabolic health, specifically with keeping their blood sugar levels under control.
I saw how hard many of them tried to cut back on the sodas, the treats, the pastries, and the sauces. Many succeeded but still felt deprived, while others couldn't sustain what was necessary to keep them on track for good health. As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, patient education is ultra important and I regularly share recipes, websites, cookbooks, and YouTube videos to help my people. For the patients whom love to cook, the transition was much easier as the learning curve was centered around using different ingredients. However, for the majority of my patients whom do not cook nor bake, the struggle is real, y'all! The reality is low-carb AND gluten-free ready-to-eat foods are exceptionally difficult to find in the store!
Ate Immortals was started so I could start sharing yummy foods with my patients and anyone else with a similar dietary habit. I am exhilarated to not only be able to talk about how to make the changes but to also provide the delicious solutions for people I care about. Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t use sugar, Aspartame and Sucralose, then what kind of sweetener do you use?
We use mainly Allulose-Monkfruit in our products, made by Lakanto™. The chocolate chips from Lakanto™ are sweetened with Erythritol. The white chocolate chips in the Macadamia Nut Cookies, made by Lily’s™, are sweetened with Stevia and Erythritol.

Are your products gluten-free?
There are no grains and no gluten-containing ingredients in our products. The founder, Dr. Shinshan Wang, ND, personally eats a gluten-free diet so she would never use gluten-containing ingredients in her yummy foods!

Do your products really not raise my blood sugar?
We can make no such claims as everyone is an individual with different underlying health issues. Our mission is to formulate recipes made with ingredients that can be easily verified to have considerably lower carbohydrate content. We have plenty of customers living the low-carb and ketogenic lifestyle that
love our products. We also have plenty of Ate Immortals fans that find our products to keep their journey in check as they work towards managing their metabolic health.

How come you don’t ship your products?
Ate Immortals, LLC is currently a Type A Cottage Food Operations which means only direct sales to buyers are allowed. It’s a humble beginning, but we’re hoping to expand and grow. Your continuous support would help make that dream into a reality!

How come you only have two pickup locations?
Ate Immortals, LLC is currently a Type A Cottage Food Operations which means only direct sales to buyers are allowed. As Ate Immortals is established and based out of West Covina, CA, that is one of the pickup locations. As the founder, Dr. Shinshan Wang, ND, works in Alhambra, CA, the second pickup location is there.
